This little village is ideally placed in the highest bay on the left-hand shore of Lake Thun, 5 km from Interlaken. The views across the lake and mountains, the rustic timber houses, ancient fountains and plenty of footpaths and hiking trails in the surrounding countryside guarantee a relaxing stay. The main traffic route passes Därligen, and it is also easily accessible by public transport, notably train and boat.
